The af3x can do 40mhz channels, so it is capable of quite a bit more
throughput than a ptp450. I think latency should be a bit lower on the af3x
as well... other than that, I don't think there's going to be too much
difference as far as performance -  I suspect throughput will be pretty
similar in a 20mhz channel.

I would probably just go with af5x, if 5ghz is an option.
