What constitutes a good splice trailer, for those of us on a budget.
We have a work trailer with work bench and Air conditioning. Is there
anything special about a splice trailer per se. ?

These are built to order pigtail ready cassettes. You dont touch
anything in the cabinet. It's ready to go right out of the box. With
the 3 feeder cables.

Would seem crazy to pay for clear blue cassettes and then splice it
again in the vault... Unless Clearfield is just quoting me crazy
stupid prices. Clearfield also has a preterm panel with a 100' on it
which I assume one would use if they were splicing in the vault. I'd
guess he spliced in the cassettes and then pulled the slack into the
vault.

Just a question because I'm curious. The Fiber that comes out of
the back of the connector blocks, that goes into the cable going
into the bottom of the cabinet. How was that spliced/installed?
Was the box built at a shop with a short 144 strand that goes to a
splice box in the vault, or was the unit all built in the trailer,
then the extra cable was pulled back into the vault when the box
was set.
