I have a cnPilot I put back into box when it immediately asked for firmware
upgrade.. WTF.. It was on for five minutes and I said f this... I installed
an air router I had in truck . Done.. Easy Peasy.. I don't want Ciscoesque
features... Don't need all that overhead and mumbo jumbo...

What exactly is the issue here? It sounds like the router needs rebooted?
Why does the 450i SM matter at all then?

I've used r200 r201 and the e400 and have never had any of them lock up,
they're just OpenWRT after all.

Make sure the cnPilot stuff is using the latest firmware. I'd also suggest
having them report info up to cnMaestro.
