Yes he owned up... More credible than others. Still concerns me
though... If we go just on smarts and world affairs H is 1st, J 2nd and T
Even Bush 2 is smarter than T. Don't get me wrong, smarts doesn't mean a
great presidency.. Nixon and Carter... One a liar, another too nice at
wrong time

So, Johnson didn't know the place name where the conflict is occurring in
Syria. Big deal. The question was asked with no context. Instead of
asking 'what should we do about syria?" or even providing a bit of context
for what was being discussed, the interviewer just came out of the blue
with "what do you think we should do about Aleppo?". I am willing to
forgive him not knowing the place name where this is occuring, and the way
he handled this flub was head and shoulders above what either of the other
candidates would have done: He owned his screw up and apologized for it.
Tell me that either of the other candidates would have done that instead of
dismissing it.

The unfortunate outcome of this flub is that no one listened to his
position on what to do about Syria, which I think is more reasoned than
either of the other candidates. Instead everyone makes a big deal about
him not knowing a single placename. Yes, an important placename in the
context of the Syrian mess, but just because he doesn't know the name of
the city where this is occurring, doesn't mean he doesn't understand the
underlying issues.

gary johnson would be a great choice if he would just stop speaking in real
time, his internet memes are phenominal, which is important this cycle
considering a measurable percentage of the voters are basing their
decisions wholely on those.

It's Larry vs Moe this time around.

I want to see a political party built around solid personal ethics and well
reasoned positions supported by solid facts and real science. The nation
needs enough conscience to care what happens to ourselves and those around
us, and enough reason to know when more help won't really help. We need
the strength to defend ourselves from conquerors, but we don't need the
strength to dominate the world.

Basically I want the love child of Jesus and Optimus Prime to run for
president. Since they're both male, they can ask Princess Twilight Sparkle
to donate an egg.

I expect a great number on both sides will sit this one out.

Art of war. Insightful. These are donation pleas with nothing more
than put Downs of Obama and Hillary. No policy ideas, nothing but the same
attacks. I don't care what anyone says Trump does not know Lincoln's
party is about let alone true conservative ideas. Not even Bush Sr. gonna
vote for him.
