Well it works with the E7 GPON card on the other end. So yeah, you kinda gotta be a Calex using company to make the G version work.
The E version will work on anything but you will only get all the nice things if you are setup with Calix to make use of the whole suite of features. Just selling you a router is just sending you a router with a fiber gpon interface. Doesn’t do any good without the horse. If you talk to Calix they’ll help you understand the hardware and let you try stuff out. No reason to even buy it from someone.
