Max throughput you could do right now with something you can buy, expensive DWDM systems that can do 200 or 400 Gbps 16QAM modulated "super channels". Each carrying two or four 100GbE circuits. Multiplied by about 40 channels.
Or 80 channel x 100GbE QPSK or 16QAM modulated DWDM systems with direct 1:1 mapping On Fri, Oct 14, 2016 at 4:47 PM, TJ Trout <[email protected]> wrote: > What is the current max throughout that can be sent over a single or two > strands of fiber? I'm assuming 100g x dwdm ? Atleast 100 x 10gbps? >
