I think Mike is right. Donors are a straw man argument. Everyone has them,
wants more of them, wants bigger donations, yet everyone else's donors are
evil. It would be nice to have a candidate that didn't have them but that
isn't the environment we have.
Maybe if there was a license requirement or something that some amount of
time was required for political crap and no other media buys were possible
we could make it through an election without gouging our eyes and ears out.
