Cisco varies. Not available on Nexus 3548, Nexus 9396 or Catalyst 4500 (near as 
I can tell). 

Either that or the OIDs aren't documented and you're off to a needle in a 
haystack search.

It’s going to vary on platforms I’m sure …. we have no issues getting this 
information on Juniper/Cisco devices for example. 3rd party vs “genuine” optics 
can made this variation too
