I see routers that now do 802.11ad 60GHz radio bands. But I don't think people realize that 60GHz doesn't go through walls, or really anything, for that matter.
So I don't see buying a single 802.11ad router as very useful for home deployment. Wouldn't this be better suited to a UBNT type deployment where you have a central POE switch/router that powers several tri-band AP's placed throughout the house via Ethernet?
