If you are talking about the Trango power supply in the black box with the barrier strip on the outside, avoid like the plague. There's a cheap little power supply inside, and it seems they all eventually fail, although it may take years. Maybe they've improved it, I haven't bought any for several years, all the ones I've got have been replaced with MeanWells.

A +48 will work fine when powering it in the office. But as soon as it's grounded, that will short the power supply out. That is based on my experience. Trango also sells a -48 power supply that is wall mount.
