One thing I have learned after spending 3 years negotiating with them, they are severely understaffed. And if you get a tax attorney to negotiate for you, all the penalties, liens, interest stops until they assign someone to your case.
And that can take 2 years or more.

I have a most excellent tax attorney and accountant if there are problems.
They have ways to push them back for years.

They left a short notice paper to call them tomorrow.
