I think Nissan is practically giving away Leafs (or are they Leaves?) in CA. CA has a mandate that some percentage of a fleet needs to be zero or near zero emissions (I may be blowing smoke on this, so forgive me if I don't know the details). Anyway, a friend with a relatively short cross-town commute of ~~ 5 miles just got rid of his 14-year-old RAV4, and is now driving a Leaf that he's leasing for $89/month. His goto for it is that it is costing less than his cell phone bill, not to mention that he never has to stop for a gas station or an oil change. Tough to beat that.

Leaf was perfect for that.
I have a car coming off of lease in 3 months so I need to decide what to get next. I may try a bolt. It does not have autopilot, but I do think it has lane tracking assist in the more expensive version.

I drive 60 miles to work for the past 15 years. Its on my list to buy, just not ready to drop that much cash. Maybe get a used one in a year or 2. I go 68 mph with no stop lights the entire way. This would be a dream. At least then it would be safer when i read up on afmug like im doing right now. ;)

Is that why customers keep calling about problems with their Wifey?

Just don't watch a movie while using it.
