I used to take the train to night school. Got a lot of reading and homework done on the train. But Americans don't like using public transportation. 1-person self-driving cars are OK. Not sure where Musk's hyperloop falls on this continuum. Does he envision 1-person canisters? I thought it was more like a train car. If they just stuffed one person in each canister, it would be like the tubes at bank drive-throughs.

It does not have autopilot, but I do think it has lane tracking assist in the more expensive version.
