We've done that. This particular tower has 12 AP's on it. It's in a noisy
environment as well. We sent out our techs to improve many of the 1x & 2x
subs and only gained about 5mb/s. It was a lot of effort with very little
payoff. Our techs have a better understanding of what poor SM's can do to
the AP. So that's a plus.

I was hoping someone had done a direct replacement of 450 to 450i and could
share their results. Perhaps it's time to look at the 450m a little closer.
