Put a ruler down by the board and shoot another picture.
The loading coil in the inductive antenna shortens it but hard to tell. I
would guess the shorter one is a quarter at 902 and the coil is the 315 MHz
antenna.
Quarter wavelength at 928 Mhz is more like 3 inches.

Subject: [AFMUG] Enhancing my home automation system.
I'm using a z-wave based home automation system. Works well even
though distance between devices is a bit too short. I have a z-wave
garage door opener that needs to talk directly to the base unit.
Haven't been able to get to work though any repeaters.
Z-Wave runs on 908.42 mhz. So I figured I could just open the box put
a solder a jumper on, and attach an external antenna to give me more
range. Attached is a picture of the device. There are two antennas
in the device on for the zwave 908 and another for the door sensor
that runs around 300mhz. Not sure which one is which. Is the straight
one that is about 2" long the 900 or is it the curly one?
The curly one is soldered at two point on the board, whereas the
straight one is only soldered at one point. Can anyone tell which is
which from picture?
