Hmmmm, I don’t remember the 70’s for good music.  Were you a Bee Gees fan?
Donna Summer?  I guess there were a few good songs (Hotel California?), but
nothing like the 60’s. Also, 1969 was the last year of the first generation
Camaros.  The past few years they’ve gone back to referencing some of the body
style points of the originals.  I do have to say I like Mary Barra, who
evidently feels no need to suck up to the Trumpster like some other auto CEOs.
It probably helps that GM has a pretty strong lineup at the moment, including
some of the cars from the GM Korea design center like Spark/Sonic/Trax.  From:

before I turned draft age.  What a relief. In my mind the late 70s were pretty
ideal.  Good music, girls.....   oh man.....  STDs were more of a bother than
life threatening...   Had a brand new Z28 Camaro.  Ronald Reagan was making
headway with the USSR. Interest rates were high though, I had certificates of
deposit earning something like 14%.

want to make America great again, I’m unclear on exactly when that was?
Usually the assumption is around 50 years ago, but All In The Family was set in
the 60’s, and it seems that Archie Bunker had the exact same gripes then.
Obviously there were no SFPs then, so what is the missing ingredient?  Glenn
Miller?  That would be around 1940. I will tell you that I turned draft age in
1968, and there were some not-so-great things about the 60’s.  My kids however
assume that was before sex, drugs and rock&roll, apparently they have not seen
any Austin Powers movies.  From: Af [mailto:[email protected]]On Behalf Of
