Hi AFMUG, We've tried a few AirFiber24 HD links, and are seeing a high failure rate. Luckily we had backup links, but we'll need to take them all down if we can't be sure of reliability.
In two cases, signal in a single direction was low / zero, in the other case it seemed like a firmware/FPGA failure (no RF, web GUI only half-working if at all, "FPGA SIG ioctl() failed 22", already tried TFTP recovery). I have to mention that Ubiquiti tech support has been good. Most are older links, and I'm thankful that Ubiquiti offers out-of-warranty repair at a reasonable cost. Has anyone else with a larger AF24HD deployment seen a high failure rate, or were we just unlucky, possibly with early radios?
