The cheaper ones are actually die cast.  Real crap.  Truly machined ones are 
worth the expense.

If you ever plan on taking them on and off, spend the money for PIM rated. N 
connectors tend to throw off spurs when taken on and off. ThePIM rated are made 
from a solid block and not plated so they don't shed chips into the connector.
