Yeahbut, in our superpluralistic enlightened society, morality is an artifact
of the dark ages...

I am seeing more and more of these issues that have a 'context' to them, taken
out of context the sound ridiculous..

I will give you two very specific examples...

Lots of the ladies in my family wear the Hijab (Dress code for Muslim Women,
have to cover all parts of their bodies in non-revealing clothes, and a Head
Scarf..... not to be confused with the 'Niqab' = face covering).

They often get stares and sometime dirty looks (and some quiet or loud
mumbling), many times empathetic looks and questions.. The type of response is
more related to the environment..... there are cities in the USA where such
dress code does will not get them 2nd looks from anyone around..

Now taking this particular lady's comment.. if she desires to go naked... well
if she does so on Miami Beach, she might not even get 2nd looks.. but if she
decides to do that in the middle of town that would a whole different story...

What is the proper answer ? I don't know.. but I do agree with a 'lack' of
recognition or a challenge of the status quo... that there is a connection
between certain kind of behavior and the action/reaction it invites which is
greatly dependent on the environment.

Personally I think this is all related to Morality, and how each one of us
understands it or perceives it..and yes it has been on slippery slopes for a
long time..

Today there is a minor protest of sorts about women getting unwanted
attention. One of the young ladies in the crowd started a dialog with me. I
trolled and baited her a bit. It devolved a bit to the point where she said
even if she chose to wear no clothes at all, she has the right to be unmolsted
and not receive any attention from anyone. “People are not animals, they can
choose to control their behaviors” she said. She happens to be a computer
science undergrad at the University of Utah.

I told her I disagree. I told her that we are a meat robot. Our operating
system, which I call “natural man” just wants to eat, sleep, screw and
sometimes attack those that get too close to his mating partners.

The human element is the app. I run Chuck 1.0
Apps are a form of AI that can reprogram itself. But some apps let the OS
take over too much of the time.

And a naked women or one dressed and looking in a particular way always
triggers a non-maskable interruupt by the OS and that always attempts to run
the “screw the girl” routine in BIOS.

She looked puzzled for a moment, cocked her head at an angle, narrowed her
brow and told me that I might be on to something. Then walked away.

I think that was a win?
