Anybody remember the guy in Australia that clamed to be able to sniff
canopy over the air? We had a call between him and Chuck M at one of
the first AnimalFarms. Not sure if he was also the guy that claimed to
be able to turn an SM into and AP.
I know I could also do that but it would not survive a reboot.

I remember one wisp that actually borrowed the gear of a competitor
prior to installing with the consent of the homeowner. Amazing the
things that can be learned.
Photos? Heck yes.

I have a specific thing im watching for. Whats the general thought on
having the tech snap a pic of the new providers gear when he picks up
our gear? I dont really care about dsl, they always come back, i dont
care about cellular, they always come back, i dont care about
satellite, they always come back. I do however care about wisps, as
it turns out, we really are the shit in what we do. We are like the
turd that floats in the sceptic tank. So i want to know what gear
competitors are using, especially if they snatch my customer.
But... Is a picture violating some unwritten rule?
What presses this specific question is an example like today, we
deinstalled an fsk 900mhz customer in an area where water meters are
fucking us. The tech tols me the new folks are running gear that
looks like our epmp, i happen to know theyre using ubnt gear, so im
not getting accurate field data.
