So after getting the 450M upgraded, it now has the option to use EITHER the SFP port or the copper port. Using fiber for payload and coper for management doesn't seem to be an option, at least yet.
Bidi SFPs seem to work fine. My uncoded FS ones show up like: SFP Part Details : Fiberstore SFP-GE-BX, serial number N0707260011, date code 170727 The SFP port on the 450M is not set in the center of the hole but rather sits closer to the antenna side so clearance is going to be an issue with some SFPs. The kit has what appears to be a custom machined extended metal gland which does a pretty good job of fixing the design flaw with the SFP port. With the license applied, the Board Model shows up like: Board Model : C050045A102A P005208 P005208 Could be because I went to the license url a second time when I first set it up and there was still no SFP option showing in the GUI. Cost for the kit is ~$300 which included the SFP worth $10, the gland worth $30 (only because they have to have them custom machined to get around the design problem), and $260 license to use the port.
