That does look interesting. I could use that instead of a UPS at MDU houses.
Would be nice to connect to a battery system and have it also monitor the local Mikrotik transceiver. Would definitely solve my recent problems one way or another with power brownouts causing my gear to freeze SFP+ comms! Never had a problem with their gear other than some funky port weirdness having to do with the first couple of SFP ports on some managed switches. I have only used their industrial rated gear and it all worked pretty reliably. That item does look interesting. I just noticed they make a mini 2-port GPON OLT for $1400. There's also this little bugger which looks like it could be a WISP micro-POP in a box: http://www.planet.com.tw/en/product/product.php?id=48944 Is this a good company in general? Do they have stable firmware and good documentation?
