Cool to hear GPS+GLONASS coming.
15.0.3 or 15.1 fixed the 450i GPS data. I forget which one. I'm now
running 15.1.1 on all 900 450i sectors. And I have some that don't
display the data. I had a suspicion that it had something to do with
UGPS power since the ones that don't work are on boxes with dedicated
power and UGPS power on those APs is off. I messed with the message
checksum and it didn't make a difference.
All sectors with SBJ Aux boxes w/ UGPS power on = GPS data present.
900 450i sectors at sites mixed with 900 and 5.7 FSK on Rev i SB12's.
UGPS power off = no data. The FSK radios are seeing data just fine.
So yeah, seems obvious that it's ignoring the GPS data if UGPS power is off.

I've had a chance tonight to spend some time validating a new GPS
receiver with which adds GLONASS. Looking good w/much better
sensitivity. Those of you who have been mentioning the desire for
this don't have long to wait - 30 days or so, really depends on how
long the GPS module stock lasts here. Rev K will have the new GPS
modules.
In the process I've discovered that cambium in 15.1.1 (or perhaps
earlier) seems to have fixed a longstanding bug in the 450i that
prevented reliable reception of GPS status information on the GPS
status screen.
However, I've also discovered that in order to get GPS status at all,
you need uGPS power on, even for those devices such as a syncbox 12
which doesn't need uGPS power.
For those of you running 15.1.1 on a 450i/450m, and a packetflux
timing port sync device (aka a syncbox of some sort), I'm curious to
find out if enabling uGPS power and enabling 'verify gps message
checksum' results in a usable GPS status screen. Note that you'll
need pin 3 on the syncbox connected to pin 4 on the 450i/m if you're
using a timing port device (as opposed to a syncbox junior Aux Port
version which just needs a straight through CAT5 cable.).
