I've used a couple of those. Work fine. Typical media converters will
not let the fiber and copper links run at different speeds, but the
GT-905 does because it's actually a 2 port managed switch. It does do
some basic VLAN stuff too, but I think only 16 VIDs can be defined. QinQ

You said SC, but that takes a standard SFP. Unless you are talking
something like LC to SC patch cables into an existing patch panel. Then
yeah, it'll work fine.
