Far end echo isnt fixable sometimes, nor can you replicate it, as ive come to find out with a year plus battle on a fortivoice system with analog lines. Swapping to sip trunks is the resolution.
We tried all kinds of stuff, but the sauce only goes so far. After dealing with all the audio sides of it (echo cancellation settings, more gain, less gain, lesser gain, some tide pods, tickling a cat) it just ends up being an inherent delay in the analog signal. Thats the rough explanation i can relay, this was engineers well more suited than me trying to explain what was going on. I kept trying to get them to look at the squirrel outside my window, but they were having none of it... effing geeks.
