You never know.
I've been talking to CenturyLink recently, and I found the enterprise sales person to be very responsive. It's been easier than I imagined it would be.

.....though I'm not talking about a duct. We're talking about getting connected to one of their long haul sites. This is something which in the past I've never gotten traction on, but this time they seem to be seriously looking at what it will take.

CenturyLink bought Level 3, so I don't think you have any better chances now than you did then.

Subject: [AFMUG] Level 3 railroad duct

About 20 years ago, Level 3 buried 13 ducts along the UPRR here in Utah. I made an inquiry once or twice over the years for access. The IRU was more money than it would take to build it myself.

I wonder if that has changed? Anyone have any luck in using any of their ducts? How about getting service at any of their regen sites? Anyone have any contact info?

What I really need is empty duct.
