I didn't think so until I read a blog from a heavy user after legalization. This was a lifelong user that went "over the top" when he became a) rich b) legal. Basically after a 3 month bender it took 6 months to clear his system from testing positive and his mind to be clear enough to get released from over watch. That is one end of the scale but it shows to me that there is a accumulation dosage and that after taking it you are somewhere on the scale all the way to a touch and clear _the next day_... I have an over-aggressive spleen. It's tough for me to get drunk much less stay drunk but it seems THC gets all the way past the blood into the tissues. But I would rather deal with a pothead any day than a drunk... I just personally think alcohol for the common user falls off faster. Oh and edibles... two hours after consumption to effect... That's a tough one to do anything but actual sobriety test...

I know it "sticks around", but I'm not so sure the side effects are still there (I am not an authority, but this is what I've read). That has been and still is the challenge. I've seen things about the development of a test to determine if someone is still under the influence, but to date the best way to tell is to perform a full sobriety test.

As long as people are signed up to "Drive a car and test positive, Go directly to Jail..." I don't want to be in this category of person, but THC sticks around so long with so much effect that it's the major difference between Pot and Alcohol... Until we have self driving cars driving down the freeway high is like shooting drunk... Sure you can do it, but it's nothing close to responsible...
