Paper clips protruding 1/4” out of the N connector works well too. Bend them
45 degree slants opposite from each other.

I put the n connectors back to back and lowered power...they connected

I have an 11 GHz bench set that goes in a 19" rack. I can hang a radio on
either side and it lines up with a waveguide that converts to coax, has a
variety of attentuators I can add or remove and then goes back to waveguide on
the other side.

You just set them next to each other with no antennas? I have two links here
waiting to go up, and I haven't been able to get them to link that way...

Definitely link them on the bench first. We did not have any issues
linking them up

Nothing at all on the other side, or just weak? If it's not showing
anything at all, it must not actually be linking, in which case it could be
something configured wrong... like maybe a type in the key, or one of the
frequencies is entered wrong.

If all the config matches, the first thing I'd check would be the
duplexor... but it sounds like you're already checking that.

so we got a -53dBm on one end and nothing on the other end? aligned

because its 2 and 4 on my side....
i downloaded the manual...guess I will have to read it... this is a 9.3
mile link,,,,I have aligned 11GHz up to 23 miles but with voltmeter on 110 ft
tower was easier.
        Help Mr. wizard

That's the Mimosa B11 that has that feature, as well as the newer
Ubuntu 5ghz AC radios, but as far as I know, the af11 has nothing of the sort.
