We have Finepoint and Comtrend. It has been an uphill project… for our ISP.
We are lucky to have a competent coder or it may not have gotten this far. One example: Speedtest feature only works in the “download” direction for example and the returned result is way off. We monitor the throughput of these tests with an outboard system. With all those work arounds.. the feature is nice. Maybe a hair more. It was ClearAccess when we started. SmartRG analytics look really nice. Been looking at FinePoint recently. FinePoint isn’t as pretty but they do support speed test right from a Comtrend router. They are also a bit cheaper than SmartRG. They also purport to be vendor agnostic. Not sure if we’re going to switch yet. __________________________________ Charles Boening Network Manager 800-858-2399 | Office <mailto:[email protected]> [email protected] <http://www.cot.net/> www.cot.net | Find us on <https://www.facebook.com/pages/Cal-Ore/205066716227707> Facebook __________________________________ Cal-Ore | Real.
