I'm looking for suggestions for an 8 mile link that will be shooting
through a single wall of trees about 1/8 mile from one end of the link.
Currently using 2.4ghz Ubnt radios. Works great during the winter, but
once the trees fill back in, the link drops to about 5Mbps actual
throughput. Would be nice to get 20Mbps.
Any suggestions? The trees are 80ft tall, so putting up a 100ft tower at
a residence is not really an option. The other side is on top of a
1000ft tall hill.
