Subject: Event: 'Second Saturdays' - at Noisy Toys Drums and Percussion
Noisy Toys Drums and Percussion presents
"Second Saturdays!"
Every second Saturday of the month will bring something very special
at Noisy Toys, including guest percussionists and artists, mini-jam
sessions, door prizes and more.
The fun starts May 14th, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm with special guest
Robert S. Hilton. He's an accomplished percussionist and teacher
who creates unusual instruments made from natural and "found"
objects. Robert performs regularly in the "3 Peace Ensemble" and
teaches at
the Armory Center for the Arts in Pasadena. Robert will demonstrate
some of
his handmade instruments which include rattles crafted from tree
branches, a
cigar box banjo, a teapot horn, a coffee pot "spring drum," musical
pots and
pans and "The Red Thing."
