I would love to see a regular beginner african dance class in the hollywood/los
feliz area both for adult beginner and children. If such a class exists please
post here-- if not, I would be willing to help find a space if someone would
like to teach in the area.

Lastly, our dedicated Angels Bearing Gifts volunteers will be on hand to share
information on their outreach in the community. This tireless group reaches out
to the local disabled community and those who are all alone and in need and
also remembers them on their birthday, Christmas, and Valentine's Day.

With the continued support of the local and surrounding communities and TRAP's
musician friends, it is anticipated that this year's TRAP benefit will be the
most successful and entertaining to date. For sponsorship opportunities and

This is Abdoulaye's 12th year of teaching here in the U.S. and we all
look forward to his fun, high-energy classes. Although he is a master
dancer, Abdoulaye's classes are excellent for all levels, and
particularly for beginners. With his vast experience of teaching all ages
(including children), and his fluency in English, he has a way of
breaking down the steps that is easy to understand and follow. For more
experienced dancers he will definitely throw in the more advanced moves.
Of course, live drumming will accompany these classes--and with Abdoulaye
in town you never know who will show up, but there are usually guest
drummers and there are always surprises. For information on Abdoulaye, or
if you wish to sponsor a class, please contact Nikola:
[EMAIL PROTECTED], or visit www.danceordie.us. Note: Abdoulaye's
videos, DVDs, and dance or die clothing will be for sale at all classes.

Subject: Drummers for Parade In Temecula, CA: SUN 7 May 06

Hello All,

We are holding a march/rally to protest the buiding of one of the largest
granite pit mines in the country at the south end of Temecula California.

The march/parade will be in Temecula at the sports park in the afternoon of
Sunday May 7th. We will be led by the high school marching band but I would
love to have other types of music spaced out
between groups of walkers. I have studied drumming in the past and it always
has and always will stir my soul. If there are any drummers out there that
would like to walk and drum as a group in our parade, please do contact me.
The cause is good and it should be a really fun and uplifting day.

Peace!
Robbie Adkins

community and particularly the Congolese Culture so, pass the word as far as
you can and bring as many as you can. I noticed that the notes on the group
home page express that postings are for the LA area. It was a LA resident
