International Poetry meetings of Conakry 
In the program, workshops, conferences, a contest of poetry in French 
and national languages, mobile libraries, poetry-caf�, a large 
spectacle of poetry and music at the edge of water on the beach of 
Rogban�... 
The International Poetry Meetings of Conakry are a festival of poetry 
founded in October 2000 by the Guinean poet Thierno Souleymane Barru 
and his friends poets and writers.  It is organized by the Group of 
Panafricanist Studies and Actions (Geap), with the collaboration of 
many partners including the Franco-Guinean Arts Centre, the 
International Center of Poetry of Marseilles, Ganndal Editions, the 
Albatique Gallery.... 
Invited poets: Fran�ois Lespiau, Josee Lapeyr�re, Claude Ber, 
Frederique Wolf-Micheaux, Ahmed Tidiane Ciss�... 
Participated in the preceding editions: Marc Strainer, Thierno Djibi 
Thiam, Mario Deluca... The festival intends to collaborate with any 
organization or association having the same objectives as him in 
order to establish a mutual partnership.

Au programme, des at�liers, des conf�rences, un concours de po�sie 
en francais et en langues nationales, des biblio-bus, des caf�-po�
sie, un grand spectacle de po�sie et musique au bord de l'eau � la 
plage de Rogban�... 

Les Rencontres Po�tiques Internationales de Conakry sont un festival 
de po�sie fond� en octobre 2000 par le po�te guin�en Thierno 
Souleymane Barru et ses amis po�tes et �crivains.Elles sont organis�
es par le Groupe d'�tudes et d'Actions Panafricannistes(Geap), avec 
la collaboration de nombreux partenaires dont le Centre Culturel 
Franco-Guin�en, le Centre international de po�sie de Marseille, les 
�ditions Ganndal, la Galerie Albatique.... 

Des po�tes invit�s: Francois Lespiau, Josee Lapeyr�re, Claude Ber,
