More than ever before, Northern Nigeria has continued to enrich its
great literary and linguistic heritage especially towards this age of
cultural, economic and political globalization, from oral to written
literature, and from writings in Arabic, Fulfulde, Hausa, and English
to literatures in several other indigenous languages in Northern
Nigeria, from Ajami to Boko (Roman) scripts. This is a Conference for
scholars, researchers, students, theorists and cultural workers
interested in literatures, languages and cultures in Northern Nigeria
to share their diverse works and examine new and old paradigms.
Participants are invited from Nigeria, Africa, Europe, the United
States and from everywhere across the world to the ancient city of Kano.
