Do the current protocol specs allow for IPv6?

Do new standards documents need to be made to allow for IPv6?

If we send an IP address over the wire anywhere in the existing protocol,
that part of the protocol will need to be changed to support IPv6. I'm
fairly sure that we do so in several places.

IPv6 support requires touching everything that RxTCP touches (admittedly
in a less-invasive way), so the long-term plan on the OpenAFS side was to
tackle IPv6 at the same time as RxTCP.

Do both of these require wire-level changes?
