With sincere apologies for technically sending a nomination after the deadline--I would respectfully request support from the registrars and electors in this special case.

In any case, I respectfully nominate Hartmut Reuter, who has expressed willingness to serve (in his retirement), and is, needless to say, highly qualified to serve as an afs3-standardization chair.

I second this nomination. Given Hartmut's qualifications and long
standing within the community, I think we should grant an extension to
the nomination period in order to allow Hartmut to stand in the
upcoming elections.

I strongly second this request!

It's a bad start for a standardization group to break their own rules
right at the start but I believe that the position is important enough
and Hartmut a strong enough candidate to do this, so

I also strongly support and second Hartmut's nomination.
