Di bawah terik matahari yang menyengat, seorang guru tampak tengah menanggalkan seluruh pakaiannya untuk mandi di sebuah sungai yang airnya jernih dan mengalir dengan deras.Ketika ia sedang asyik-asyiknya melepaskan kepenatan, tiba-tiba, diluar perkiraannya, ada serombongan anak perempuan yang ternyata murid-muridnya sedang menuju ke tepi sungai tersebut. Si guru sangat terkejut melihat kedatangan tamu tak diundang itu, dan dengan reflek ia pun segera menutupi mukanya dengan kedua belah telapak tangannya.Melihat pemandangan itu, para murid wanita merasa risih lalu pergi menjauhi lokasi itu sambil bertanya-tanya siapa gerangan laki-laki bodoh yang mandi telanjang di sungai itu. "Mestinya ia menutupi auratnya bukan mukanya,"celetuk seorang murid kepada teman-temannya. Beberapa hari setelah kejadian itu, ternyata ada seorang murid yang mengenali sosok laki-laki yang mandi di kali itu. Karena penasaran ia pun memberanikan diri menemui gurunya untuk mendapatkan penjelasan mengenai peristiwa di sungai itu."Pa Guru, saya mohon maaf dengan kejadian di tepi sungai waktu itu, kami benar-benar tidak sengaja menyaksikan guru sedang mandi di sana, namun ada satu hal yang saya tidak mengerti, mengapa waktu itu guru malah menutupi wajah Anda bukannya alat vital Anda," tanya muridnya penasaran. "Jika waktu itu saya menutupi alat vital saya, maka kalian akan mengetahui siapa laki-laki yang sedang mandi telanjang itu, tetapi dengan menutupi wajah saya, kalian memang bisa melihat alat vital, tetapi kalian tidak tahu siapa pemiliknya." Jelas si guru tanpa basa-basi lagi. ********** Mendengar penjelasan itu, si murid telah mendapat sebuah pencerahan dan belajar sesuatu yang sangat berharga tentang cara mengambil keputusan di saat-saat kritis.Banyak orang yang panik ketika menghadapi situasi darurat.Mereka lebih mendahulukan yang mendesak dibandingkan yang penting. Padahal, dalam keadaan apa pun juga kita hendaknya tetap tenang agar bisa memilih prioritas dalam mengambil keputusan agar jangan sampai hal-hal yang mendesak mengalahkan hal-hal yang paling penting.
