Setelah negosiasi sangat alot & panjang dengan Pemerintah Indonesia,
sepertinya langkah Google di China juga akan diikuti oleh RIM di
Indonesia. Juru bicara dari RIM telah mengkonfirmasi bahwa setelah
negosiasi sangat alot & panjang dengan Pemerintah Indonesia dalam masalah
sensor dan kontrol bandwidth telah mencapai kebuntuan. Masalah ini telah
di diskusikan sejak Blackberry booming di Indonesia awal 2009, dimana
pemerintah sejak itu telah menempatkan bunga dan preasure pada RIM untuk
membuka perusahaan resmi Service Center di Indonesia dan sensor-nya
Blackberry Messenger Service. RIM membantah isu yang terakhir dan
mengumumkan privasi dan kredibilitas yang kuat Blackberry titik yang
banyak itu tidak terbuka untuk negosiasi. Sepertinya kebuntuan ini adalah
akhir untuk Blackberry di Indonesia, RIM telah memutuskan untuk menarik
layanan keluar dari Indonesia
pada 1 Juni 2010, tetapi akan terus melayani pasar Asia Pasifik, tetapi
tidak di Indonesia.
NB: berarti kedepannya hny berfungsi sbg HP biasa.
