Firstly, Matt's a pretty smart guy. He has contributed to the list and the discussions in a very positive way. I respect him and so do many others on this list. Even if you don't agree with his views on the path to AGI, calling him a crackpot says more about you than him. You instantly devalue any comment about AGI you are likely (or not) to make in the future. Secondly, you could have made ALL of the comments below in a constructive manner, without having to be personal or calling anyone names. We want this list to have non-troll and non-crackpot contributors, but it's people like you who are driving them away.
