You can overdo the metaphors. Yes. But hey! Poets need a say too. This is
the poetry of a neuroscientist/engineer. You gotta make allowances. :P

There's a serious message here. In addition to Galileo's note there are two
paragraphs (behind the confessionals by Sir CortAlex and Ragy) that nail
the heart of the problem in very specific technical terms, and are the key
message. The rest of it is just a fun container.

This is a real life problem with the science that I'm trying to get people
to recognise and think about.

Everything else is dressing.

I even got colourblind Mary and the Chinese Room in there! And an obscure
movie reference (can anyone see it? A scene from a relatively recent AI
movie. Elephant stamp for the person that gets it!) and a fart joke.

We could use a little humour in this business! There's a truckload of
material in AGI. I've even written a slow blues song about how the same
issue appears to the science of consciousness.
