Semantically, we could read singularity to mean; a functional agency of
autonomy and jurisdiction.

The issue should not lie with the notion of autonomy, as it seemingly does.
Rather, it resides with the less-focused-upon aspect of machine-driven policy
making (polity) AKA who's making the laws along which lines autonomous machines
would be reasoning, as executed by the functionality of juris diction?

Unless the meta questions were answered satisfactorily, how would humans, and
service-induced autonomous machines ever be able to successfully compete with
freelance AI bots over intelligent, networked environments?

I guess the machines have reached ASI when humans start accepting them as
leaders...

In mathematics a singularity is when a value goes to infinity. The

Some people use singularity to mean the point when AI exceeds human
intelligence, which should lead to rapid self improvement. Again this is wrong
because you cannot compare human and machine intelligence. Either it happened
in the 1950s (because we associate math skills and memory with intelligence) or
it can never happen (because the best a machine can do in a Turing test is tie).

Use "CAIA Chercheur Artificiel en Intelligence Artifice" to search and allow
French results 😉

I'm trying to find out about the guy's CAIA project (the "artificial AI
researcher")... can't find anything, and none of his books are free.
