Oh, Great! Let a thousand analogues to the SLS bloom!

If government had its head screwed on straight with regards to AI, the NSF
would have, long ago, taken Matt's advice
<https://cs.fit.edu/~mmahoney/poster.pdf> and we would have essentially
solved the natural language understanding problem by now. As it stands, it
is left up to Marcus to finance an appropriate prize
<http://jimbowery.blogspot.com/2017/07/fusion-energy-prize-awards.html>.

Moreover, things are bad enough with all the economic rent seeking in the
private sector supporting hysterical capital misallocation in AI. At least
with Musk's Falcon Heavy and Starship (both privately capitalized
<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=boLdXiLJZoY>), there was _one_ private
sector player who took his network effect capital and had his head screwed
on straight relative to the government's "top men" and their SLS
monstrosity.
