Guaranteed. =) Insetad of realizing that the Hard Times that I've been trying to warn people about have come, and we're really down to the wire in terms of time, lets instead find something thats provably tangental to AGI, namely text compression, and spend all our time and list bandwidth working that probelm. Sure there are more appropriate lists to talk about compression on, AGI is both cool and scary so we'll try to divert ito onto a topic that's more comfortable and most certainly won't lead to anything that much of anyone will care about. =P I mean we can pat ourselves on the back all day long for making all this great progress on saving bandwidth we didn't really care about anyway. I mean we only have a few dozen years before we're too old and senile to save by any conceivable means we need the time to move past even faster by spending it on problems that are essentially useless to bootstrapping the ultratechnologies we will need to get to the next level. Wow! The more I think about this idea the better it gets! we should all drop all productive research and solving the real problems, logistics, and business arrangements of AGI and AGI development and focus istead on text compression! This is positively the most awesomest idea ever! You know, what, the people who came up with the idea of focusing on text compression must intellects of the highest calibre! How can they stand for even a moment to associate themselves with such miserable dullards such as ourselves. So I propose, out of shame, that we disassociate ourselves from their esteemed company BY KICKING THEM OFF THE DAMN LIST!!!!!!!!
