What about creating the god machine, the most advanced technology possible? It's the best survivor. It predicts best and it rejuvenates instantly. It can morph and construct anything instantly (from both cell or layer by layer). Launching a trillion nukes at it would never hurt it, and they wouldn't even detonate.
It's all about what you learnt, mostly. Humans are already benevolent. Like dogs, they are nice mostly because of their surroundings/parents teaching them and feeding them to fulfill their basic needs. In fact the christian religion ones may seem happier, as they have a perfect lie. However, while humans are helpful, the see to be as destructive in the foreshadow. Having shared their wood and lifted your car, others might rob your car or set a nuke off. As if it's just as bad as the good! Isn't there more good!? I think there is. If you want more happiness kindness smarts love etc (survival) you need more alignment, you need the more advanced technology, humans can't depend on others so much at the moment.
