I spent too much time writing it already, I'm going into survival mode now :). I did try to make it have an order, nonetheless all the knowledge is there and doesn't need any change to read it.
Well I'm done reading for now (sorta), I read various Papers and books over the last year... Most don't meet my expectation and are just variants of variants, GAN this LSTM this, RL this policy this. I'm looking for how the brain works in a single hierarchy where each word is only stored once and it's thoughts are stored in the same net as energy. And I'm looking for clarity in the design explained, not math and backprop. My "book" does the exact opposite and explains everything in pure English. As far as I'm concerned, the most advanced single architecture is Transformers. All other Papers and AI is basically surmounted into them. GANs do the same thing, so does all other variants, just in another way. But a Transformer is not a single net, they have a LOT of stuff going on inside. I want a lot of ability stuffed into a single architecture/hierarchy, simple while powerful = AGI. The other papers are confusing variants that don't do a lot, they are disappointing. Now there is some good vision AI, just look at Two Minute Papers, it translates a volcano into a ice mountain. It retains some features like shape. For text it'd be translating hot to cold like GPT-2 understands while doesn't to common words like 'the', and you may ask it to translate the theme from hot to cold while retain the ruthlessness of the main actor and do not cool him down. I look for good recognition and prediction, and elaboration, translation, and summarization. They are actually the same thing and are called Importance, recognition pays attention more or less and prediction of what follows does too, the recognized or generated sentence will therefore be more summarized or inflated or stable. "What types of education are you pursuing to bring your ideas into reality?" Just studying at home and making discoveries.
