If, as _seems_ likely, the "religion" described is Ben Finn's "creation", he is best described as offering up satirical entertainment. However, far less sophisticated "plausible next sentence" exhibitions <http://www.billhowell.ca/Neural%20nets/Howell%20110903%20-%20Confabulation%20Theory,%20Plausible%20next%20sentence%20survey.pdf>, such as those by the late, great Hecht-Nielsen's Confabulation Engine, have been suspected, by no less an authority as our own Matt Mahoney, of being sentences that were, in effect, memorized from the training corpus. Add to that my own professional investigations of attempts to hack the google page rank algorithms leading, inevitably, to article re-generation that passes for human, and the enormous financial incentives to beat google's detection algorithms, and the "plausible article generation" offered up by Ben Finn, should not be so lightly dismissed. This, by the way, is what makes Ben Finn's satire, if that it be, no mere troll, let alone SPAM.
