Well, you can design a new crypto where mining is replaced by compression such that new benchmark improvements result in larger reward claims. Tie it in to some BOINC type of system where compression jobs are being worked on and payments feed into the rewards pool incentivizing developers to improve their algorithms to earn ever increasing rewards buildup... let the crypto be traded on an exchange for USDT or whatever. Then Matt can just kick back and watch all the numbers twirl on a dashboard :)
You’d need a compression protocol API interface so people can wire their compressors to it and run them all automated with real-time metrics to see if their compressor is earning crypto or not. Efficient compressors make money until a more efficient compressor is wired in and takes the money flow away from less efficient ones. Allow code anonymity to help people protect their work and earn income... some sort of balancing mechanism would need to exist for comparatively inefficient compressors with lots of cores verses new efficient compressors with fewer cores since computational work still needs to get completed. ------------------------------------------ Artificial General Intelligence List: AGI Permalink: https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/Te9633f76cfbb22e5-M4953f9f61be456eebb9241b7 Delivery options: https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/subscription
