You have the option to supply your own zip file. Try kzip. It compresses a little better to zip format. Maybe you would like to try the Calgary challenge. You can compress your decompression code with zip, rar, 7zip, ppmd, bzip2, or zpaq. (Maybe you could develop a zpaq archives to extract directly with no decompresor). The last winner was in 2010. The files are smaller so it's easier to work with, but there is no prize money since I took it over in 2016. The contest has been running since 1996. http://mattmahoney.net/dc/calgary.html ------------------------------------------ Artificial General Intelligence List: AGI Permalink: https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/Ta8a0e64036790330-Mdcd3481e33546dd7bc2672f9 Delivery options: https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/subscription
