How many times do I need to reinforce it/ go through it. AGI is the senses, the motor cortex is not so much the problem. Any actions that are used during thinking are actually sense-problematic....so yes they are often neededdd but you can easily think of it as a Sense issue... AGI can be thought of as 1 sensory type ex. images. We saw how easily openAI applied the GPT to images, basically at least. AGI uses many smaller models and multiple sense types ex. sound and vision as a way to merge their predictions over the spectrum because it doesn't have enough compute/memory to know where all its RAM atoms are located (maybe), it can't run a full sim, it has to model predictions for image, sound, touch, and do so by using simple models, like lowering the quality and storing fragments of each corner of an image, if you need a super layman understanding. That is why text prediction is fine...it has to eat/ learn data, generate its own and predict away like me....finding its true goal (input prompt). With data, being hopefully diverse in the spectrum, but mostly curated desired data/ own thoughts, it has to find patterns, for the future. It cannot use any memories, if it can't use them for solving future similar problems, it can only use patterns, not randomness so much. Randomness being good as in if being shot at, ya it'd help avoid bullet, this is sabotaging their pattern matching lol, so that you can survive and stay a pattern and not hot soup big bang but rather cooling down universe immortality). AGI has to be able to solve billions of unknown problems without ever seeing them before exactly. It needs patterns. So giving it the most common pattern detectors by coding up the most simplest program (mine is still small ATM) is the goal, it is a better idea if small and as good, and fast and less memory used. AGI has a great deal of teaching needed to it and chat backs too, and thinking to itself for long times on some wall, but these are emergent things, you will absolutely need the GPT "algorithm" to get a text-in text-out interface for storing and accessing and creating new rules/ contexts.
