Ghost,
Stefan is the one that made this personal. I mentioned just some important
information about the market in general and my experience with it based on
several years of hard work, sleepless nights, and a lot of soul-searching.
He took my comments got offended as if they were personal insults and acted
in the opposite way that is expected of any person that works on a
scientific or evidence-based type of task.
Not just that but also he continued to use my name and claim I was wrong
even when I basically stop interacting with him.

Anyway, I never tried to compete with him or challenge him. I actually told
him several times I admired his desire to explore this topic and forge his
own way.
What worried me was the fact he didn't do much research about what other
people do in the field (I don't think he is even familiar with very basic
ideas and concepts in trading) and he has a very naive understanding of the
field.
But as I mentioned the worst thing was that any simple suggestion (like
producing a table of your trades so it is easier to validate by hand, which
is an important sanity check you always need to do at least at first)
resulted in him insulting me and banning me on his Telegram channel. I
never saw such crazy behavior from a person that is supposed to be a
professional in the technology/science field.

By the way, he claims I do have not a functioning bot and I already gave
him links to my github and he could do a simple good search and see my
credentials in the field. I wrote code myself for years and worked with
several developers to create very sophisticated trading platforms and I
developed my own unique set of strategies and even a trading manifesto
based on my ideas. I wrote Medium articles on the topic, I have a youtube
channel where we shared some of these concepts and results. I created a
professional trading company that offered services to the public.
More importantly, we traded with these systems in multiple markets (crypto,
stocks, futures) for several years and we have tons of real data available
for analysis.

But of course, Stefan is not even able to do a Google search or he is so
self-absorbed that doesn't care about what other people he interacts with
do.
On the contrary, I did search for Stefan and tried to understand his
background and work.

I'm not obsessed with what he did. I simply found it interesting somebody
posted a trading post here and I wanted to help him with some advice and
even explore the idea of a possible collaboration.
Differently from other fields in science or tech where people share ideas
and work collaboratively the word of trading is quite the opposite and can
become a little lonely so I thought initially it was nice to interact with
somebody in this field that wanted to start anew and learn things from
doing. But I never expected this reaction and this is why I shared my
experience here.
